CWW believe we have the most dynamic, professional yet personable team in any international volunteering organisation.

Our experience, together with the many years of sector specific experience in our Advisory Group and coaching partner, makes CWW the ideal vehicle to broker and facilitate overseas assignment opportunities for you.

Kirsty Summers: Recruitment Coordinator

After completing an honours degree in Equine Studies with Management and Marketing Kirsty returned to her native Edinburgh and has spent the last 7 years successfully working in retail customer relations management, HR and recruitment.

Prior to joining CWW to coordinate volunteer recruitment Kirsty managed HR and recruitment functions for a leading medical imaging software company and spent time with the Scottish Parliament, assisting the Justice 2 Committee clerking team.




Daliah Haughton: Operations Manager

From Jamaica, Daliah is passionate about development work. She has a Masters in Development Administration and Planning from University College London, and has worked in both the private and public sectors in the UK and overseas.

Daliah has herself been a volunteer on numerous occasions. Her experience includes work in Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Micronesia and most recently, Ghana. Daliah currently manages our legal reform and human rights work as well as our busy programme in Belize.



Eoghan Mackie: Chief Executive

Born in Australia Eoghan has lived and worked in several countries including Australia, France, Romania, the Caribbean, Ecuador, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Eoghan worked as a commercial lawyer for Andersen until he joined CWW full time in 2002. Since then he has achieved award winning status as a social entrepreneur and gained ventures support from UnLtd 'the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs’. He specialises in international networks, product development and innovation.

Eoghan is an avid believer in the economic and community importance of social enterprise, in the UK and overseas and participates in the DTI’s Enterprise Insight campaign, as well as various social capital initiatives in Scotland.


Alex Page: Operations Director

Alex has worked in international development for over 10 years and holds a Masters in Environmental Management. He has worked with local organisations in Indonesia, Honduras, Belize, Dominica, Chagos, Nicaragua and the Philippines to deliver initiatives in biodiversity conservation and natural resource management.

Alex has extensive experience of international volunteering as a volunteer, project leader and operations director with various international organisations. He recently managed a corporate placement scheme for Vodafone - placing staff into development projects in China, Vietnam, Belize, South Africa and Kenya.

He is committed to the development of volunteers and partner organisations through well focused placements.
