Employer Partnerships

The 2-12 week Employer partnership programme provides a unique opportunity for Employers to support and develop the talent of their staff whilst contributing their expertise, skills and experience to make a practical difference overseas.

Employers can benefit from:
  • Providing unique learning and development opportunities for staff
  • Building the talent of their future leaders
  • Improving their reputation or brand
  • Improving staff loyalty and motivation or
  • Delivering CSR programmes and contributing to international development in a way that maximises their expertise and is relevant to their business.

Whatever the motivations CWW will work closely with employer partners to understand their intentions and requirements and create a bespoke programme that meets their business needs.

The programme of volunteer assignments CWW develops with each Employer incorporates the time, budget and numbers of staff Employers wish to involve. Whilst ownership of the programme is retained by the client CWW manage the entire process from start to finish, making this a tested and proven approach to staff development outsourced to a professional, experienced and established international development agency.

To complete the offering, we supply high quality leadership and management development coaching, through our coaching partner, Drummond International, who work independently to the employer and, to an extent, from CWW. This is just one of the techniques we use to capture the value of the learning and development generated through these overseas assignments

  • We see working with employers year on year as a key step to strengthening our contribution to international development.

Our key strength lies in our dynamic personal approach to our work. We are able to move from concept to reality in a matter of months and can adapt to any business and its specific requirements.

"CWW is the first organisation that we've come across in the development sector which is open to new ways of working. Our company is not the most conventional, and I think we're a bit of a first for CWW to try and place on an assignment,
but Eoghan (Mackie, Chief Executive) and his team have been flexible and creative in finding a way that will work for all sides.

After 4 years of trying to involve ourselves in development, this really is a refreshing change and hopefully will facilitate great things. That creative willingness is set against a firm and confident line on what is possible and who's best for the job; this keeps me from both worrying my teams will find them selves mismatched in the field, and from getting overexcited by the romantic notion of working in the development world."
