Why do I have to pay...
Unlike many volunteer sending agencies, we do not charge our partner organisations any money for sending you to them. Instead we try to keep your time with them as cost neutral as possible. In our view, locally available funding should be used to create more local jobs. CWW have chosen to operate as a social enterprise, so that we don’t need to rely on UK grant funding and can instead do the work that our local partners identify. All funds are tightly controlled and regulated as part of our commitment as a registered Scottish charity.
The revenue we receive pays for our team to deliver our sector leading services to you and to constantly develop new and better approaches.
What does success look like…
We believe success is a real change for the organisation you are working for. We know change does not happen overnight, which is why we develop careful relationships of trust with each of our hosts and plan long term interventions with them. You are paying money to us to help you make that happen for them. Either way, you will have a valuable experience. We explore ways to enhance your chance of success during your two days of training. The key, we can tell you now, is to be open minded and dynamic.
