The Project:
CWW has a variety of volunteer opportunities available for Business Development(Strategic Planning) Advisors with local partners in Belize, India and Sri Lanka.
Business Development (Strategic Planning) assignments:
All volunteers are matched to placements that match their skills, experience and availability. Volunteers will be directly involved in helping to strengthen the capacity of organisations and ensure their long-term future by:
Coordinating the research and development of strategic plansReviewing markets and market positioningUndertaking SWOT analysisConducting stakeholder consultationDeveloping strategy for achieving core objectives Refining strategies into work plans Identifying project costs, revenues, cash flow.

You:
Skills and Experience - Volunteers with a range of strategic and business planning skills and experience have a lot to offer and learn from working with our partners overseas. In particular we are looking for volunteers with the following skills and experience:
Experience of researching, and writing strategic plans Experience conducting market and stakeholder researchExperience of researching project/programme costs and developing budgetsExperience of planning for the development of products and servicesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong analytical and reporting skillsExcellent interpersonal skills
They will also be:Self motivated with the ability to work independentlyProfessional, flexible, resourceful, creative and culturally sensitive.
