The Project:
CWW has a variety of volunteer opportunities available for HR Managers, Advisors and Recruitment Professionals with our local partners in Belize, India, Sri Lanka and Kenya. CWW partners range from government departments to NGO’s to local community enterprises. They deliver a range of programmes that meet Livelihood, Health, Environment and Legal Reform and Human Rights needs.
HR assignments:
All volunteers are matched to placements that match their skills, experience and availability. HR Advisors can be involved in a number of crucial tasks including:
Developing and training staff in recruitment processesAssessing and revising staff job descriptionsPlanning HR budgets incorporating salaries, recruitment, staff award programme’s, and trainingResearching and writing HR policiesDeveloping appraisal and performance measurement systemsAnalysing and planning for training needs

You:
Skills and Experience - Volunteers with a range of skills and experience have a lot to offer and learn from working with our partners overseas. In particular we are looking for volunteers with the following skills and experience:
Experience of performance managementExperience of managing staff Experience of researching and planning for training needsExperience of recruitmentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skills
They will also be:Self motivated with the ability to work independentlyProfessional, flexible, resourceful, creative and culturally sensitive.
