BZ01CM - Marketing Advisor

To research and develop a marketing strategy for the promotion of the facility and training services

3 Months - Immediately

The Project:
Purpose of Placement

To research and develop a marketing strategy for the promotion of the facility and training services, developing recommendations on how to access niche (training provision) markets.

Background

Our delivery partner is making an important contribution to the development of Belizean youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. The organisation aims to develop the livelihoods of young people so that they can provide for themselves. To achieve this they provide training programmes and support services from an excellent multi-purpose facility. Their services range from a large pre-school and nursery facility to, HIV/AIDS programmes, and vocational training evening classes.

In order to become financial viable and to compensate for a loss of crucial funding, the organisation requires support to market their multi-purpose facility (it contains a hairdressing salon, café and kitchens) and help them research the possibilities for providing income-generating training.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research existing training and facility providers.
  • Make recommendations on potential services the organisation could provide to meet gaps in existing markets
  • Develop and train staff in marketing strategy for multi-purpose facility.
  • Develop marketing materials and research and plan other forms of marketing.
